(2014), Scott Avery presented at Garis & Hahn's Double Blind exhibition documentation of Reasonable Doubt, a marathon performance in which the artist administered a polygraph exam to 165 people in 40 hours over five days at SPRING/BREAK Art Show. WhereasReasonable Doubt sought to reveal the public in private through asking questions about race, sex, politics and religion, Do you intend to answer my questions truthfully? explores the relationship among four of the 165 sitters in an installation that includes various moving and still portraits, text, unique chart drawings and questionnaires.
